Online and in person, there are a number of ways you can improve your knowledge of floodplain management and mapping.   Here we provide links to some of the Utah's Division of Emergency Management's (DEM) recorded trainings as well as learning opportunities from FEMA, the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM), and the Utah Floodplain and Stormwater Management Association (UFSMA).

Monthly Learn as You Lunch

Hosted by Utah Division of Emergency Management Floodplain Management Team. This is a monthly recurring meeting hosted on the third Wednesday of every month on various floodplain management topics. These topics include floodplain regulations, floodplain mapping tips & tricks, presented with other state, and federal partners, as well as contractors.
